Devin Tarwater was born and raised in Arizona — the third generation of his family to call the state home. That deep connection to Arizona shapes everything about the way he practices law: a genuine understanding of the state's communities, its courts, and the people who bring their most important legal matters to his office.

Practice Focus
Devin's practice centers on real estate law, encompassing both litigation and transactional work across a broad range of matters. He has represented homeowners, buyers, sellers, contractors, property management companies, and real estate professionals — bringing the same level of preparation and personal attention to each engagement.
On the litigation side, Devin handles nearly every variety of real estate dispute: quiet title actions, real estate fraud, Registrar of Contractors complaints, HOA matters, business owner disputes, title issues, easement disputes, loan document enforcement, and construction defect claims. He has made successful appeals to the Arizona Court of Appeals and has obtained favorable verdicts for his clients.
His transactional practice includes the negotiation and drafting of commercial purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, conveyance documents, and well-sharing agreements, as well as counsel through the due diligence process when title issues arise.
Bar Admissions & Courts
Devin is admitted to practice law in Arizona and Utah, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the Supreme Court of the United States. This federal and multi-state licensure allows him to handle matters that cross state lines or reach the federal courts.
Before the Law
Prior to his legal career, Devin worked as a registered agent at one of the nation's five largest brokerage firms. He also served at a therapeutic horse ranch dedicated to helping struggling youth, a chapter of his life that reflects the values he brings to his practice.
Languages
Devin is fluent in English and conversational in Italian.
Outside the Office
In his free time, Devin enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hiking, playing pickleball, and cheering on the D-backs, Suns, BYU, and ASU.
